Been a while!

* I know I have been such a slacker at posting but just sooo much going on lately! Mostly because I have been going back and forth to Dallas to hang out with these two adorable girls!! They are so cute and I am so glad that I got to spend a lot of time with them. One more trip before they leave, will be for M's baptism and Hubby is excited about being her godfather!

* Hubby went on a trip to SL to visit his parents,and to India to visit a few of my relatives as well! He was gone for three weeks! Although it went by fast for him, it wasn't as fast over here! But spending time with the nieces sure did distract me! Glad he's home now and we get to spend the holidays at home!

* We also are excited that my sis and family will be moving back to Texas next July! Glad to have them all closer and finally the whole family in one state! Been a long time!

* And last but not least, another big reason for my lack in posting, is that we are having a baby in April. Have not wanted to post till well after 12 weeks which is why I have waited to post. We are super excited about this and maybe in the next few weeks I could post a picture! Had bad morning sickness for a few weeks but feeling 100% better now. We go to another appointment tomorrow, so we are excited about that! Ready to start decorating the nursery though!! Have been waiting a while to do that!

Here is what I have been up to in the past month: turning 28, spending lots of time with Lil S and and finally meeting baby M!! Hubby and I also celebrated our fifth anniversary!! Enjoy the pics! (they are out of order date wise, but you get the point)


The first pic is of hubby and I on our 5th anniversary! I cannot believe that it has come so quickly. We celebrated by going to Red Lobster and the food was soo yummy! Hubby is too sweet and got me a laptop!


Here is Baby M!! I took this picture after she had come home from a pediatrician's appointment.. She is only a few weeks old now, but is too cute! I love how the change in the background color makes this picture look!

Here is the pic from my birthday! We celebrated with family and went out to lunch at On the Border! They sang to me which was embarrassing and told the restaurant that i was turning 13.. LOL!



Finally, here is a pic of S handing me the "pupcakes" she picked out for me! She had fun trying to keep it a suprise,even though she told me she was getting blue cupcakes! By the way, if you can't tell her favorite color is pink! These are just a few things that happened, trying to get caught up now with all my pictures! 100th post!!

Here is hubby driving on the way to see the 4th of July firework show! We took the camera to get some pics but it ran out of batteries. I wanted to get a good pic of us since it was our first 4th of july in our house.. oh well.. maybe next year!



The picture on the wall is from my mom.. (and I have posted pics of it before). We decided to move it to the smaller wall above our wedding pictures, and also to add the scrolls with the vanilla candles.. Where the pics were( on the wall to the right), we are going to put a medium sized mirror.. saw some cute ones at Kirklands, but haven't decided on one yet.. That will be the last bit of decoration in our master bedroom for now..

I can't believe I am already at my 100th post.. Not as creative as I planned but it's been a crazy month! Excited about going back to visit Lil S this week and she is already planning my birthday cake and all the ingredients she needs to make it! I think she will have her own show on the Food Network one day.. :) Also excited that niece #2 will be here soon, and we will finally get to call her by name! Lots of excitement this month! Will try to update with more pictures soon!! Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July and have a great rest of the week!

Already almost July???

I haven't posted in a while because we have been driving back and forth to spend time with Lil S! It has been a lot of fun to just spend time with her and spoil her rotten! We'll be going back in a couple of weeks around my birthday to see her so that should be fun!





Another little project for the house that hubby put together last night! Garden Ridge was having a great sale on patio furniture so we got this set for our backyard! If it wasn't sooooo dang hot, then we might be able to use it soon! It's been so hot around here, that our grass is almost completely dead! After living in Seattle and seeing rain nonstop, we got sick of the rain.. But we could sure use some now!

My new shades!

I recently got new glasses so I thought I would add a few pics!!




Here is the side view of my glasses! This is the only major difference from my last pair: the design on the side! I will take a pic with them on soon!! Going to a wedding at the end of the month, so I will add some then!

And here is the cutest little niece in the world! She is wearing a dress I picked up for her in Sri Lanka, when we were visiting Hub's parents! I bought it when she was a baby and now it finally fits and she looks so pretty in it! They are on their way back to the States for a LONG visit! I'm going to visit them this week and will be spending two weeks hanging out and spoiling her rotten! More pics coming soon! Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and a great Memorial Day!!!
